From Martin Beck Theatre, 1960 New York City

I was all of 4 years old. I remember parts of the show vividly. There were marching men. Women in togas. Cyril Ritchard playing an instrument on the ramparts with a FAT women wearing a huge breast plate. A couple standing on the steps of some Greek Structure singing a duet...Diana, swinging from the sky (tribute to the gods). Cyril RItchard rising from a hole in the stage in a cloud wearing a black suit asking "which way to the United Nations?!" I remember that being a distant image and I guess my parents were making a getaway during the curtain call...never forgot the show and since my dad bought the album I never forgot the music...Offenbach...this is a show that needs to be revived...any takers?
